Nisarga Garden Restaurant

Address: 147, Infantry Road, Bangalore- 560001

Landmark: Opposite - Police Commissioner Office

What makes Nisarga Garden Restaurant unique is the decor. Its based around a tree which has thankfully not been cut down and the shade of the tree along with the numerous potted plants give the restaurant a garden feel.

The menu aint lavish but whatever they have is super tasty and this is vouched for by their ever expanding loyal clientele. The usual Bangalore Vegetarian fare is available at Nisarga. The crisp dosas, soft idlis, tasty vadas, amazing kesar bath (with pineapple), kara bath, variety rice items - based on the day of the week, snacks like bonda-bajji-madhur vada-pakoda, holige, naan, rumaali roti, parota, akki roti, fried rice, noodles, baby corn fry, gobi manchurian, fruit salad, fresh fruit juice, ice creams, chola poori, chaat items like bhel puri-paani puri-pav bajji-sev puri etc., tea and a seductive cup of coffee - all this and more are listed out on the Nisarga menu.

The costliest item on the menu would be 25 Rs. and thats really quite nothing considering the value of the setting - under the cool shade of the tree - and the taste of the dishes on offer.

The place is open from 7 AM to 7:30 PM and is closed on Sundays. It tends to be jam packed during lunch hours. The crowd is a lot lesser during Saturdays.
